Oksana school will have its 16th year anniversary this year. We should celebrate it. Time flies really fast. But for me like yesterday. I remember on the day of opening I went there with Jurgen on an open pick up under the summer sun. The pick up is red and Jurgen was also red. It brings back our beautiful memories. Although we do not have any photos of that time. The photo I sent now is from 10 years ago when you visited your school. There were 169 children in 2008 and now your school has 209 children. Your school does not have any special needs at the moment. The village people take care of your school very well. Your school is still in a safe zone of Bagan. We are hoping for a better time to come. Now our land is not in a good condition. War is all around the country. Every group is searching for new members to fight. All the young people between 18 to 35 years old are very worried. Now all the passport offices are full and a lot of young people are going abroad. I am now about 40 years old and I also need to worry. My family wants me to go abroad alone first. But it is difficult and I need to think about our projects and my family. Here in Bagan, there are some local visitors on weekends. They spend their money because they do not know what will happen next in Myanmar. Everyone is hoping for a better time....
